Achavinish is an old farmhouse sitting at the end of a track, looking out over the Sound of Gigha. From here you can watch the comings and goings of the yachts in the marina, the toing and froing of the wee ferry or enjoy the birdsong from the Ruachans stretching away in front of you. We are located a 10-minute walk from Ardminish village, where you will find a well-stocked store, a seafood takeaway, a pub, a café and an award winning restaurant.

The room has its own private entrance through our front porch, from the garden area with outdoor seating. The large double aspect room includes a comfortable double bed, a sofa with coffee table and a dining table and chairs. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.
The shower-room is located at the end of the hall – please be aware that this facility is shared with us, but we will try to keep out of your way.

Breakfast is continental style and will arrive in the morning in a basket, left ready for you to collect from the porch. In the basket you will find a selection of cereal, yoghurt, breakfast cakes, croissants, hard boiled eggs and fruit juice. The breakfast menu will be in your room when you arrive – please let us know your order the night before.

We have space for you to park if you bring your car, but we’re only a short walk from the ferry if you want to leave the car behind.
We’re afraid we don’t accept dogs, as our dog (Ted) HAS to be the centre of attention!
